Sometimes a general goal becomes more specific: Your longtime ambition to see Japan begins to crystallize around a trip to Kyoto. On the other hand, maybe you wanted to go to Amsterdam, but after talking it over with friends you decide to make a broader tour of the Netherlands. Or maybe you change your mind entirely: You used to want to see Prague but these days you’re more inclined towards Budapest.
This feature would be active on the pages of places that you have marked as places that you want to go. “I want to go somewhere else instead.”
This would be especially useful to those of us who have filled up all 43 places, and who acquire new travel ideas faster than we come by opportunities to travel. It would also be interesting to see how people’s minds change over time.
A potentially related feature would be recommendations when people mark a place a “worth visiting” or “not worth visiting”: “worth visiting, and people who enjoy this place may also enjoy…” or “not worth visiting, instead visit …”.
